The Recurrent Energy segment develops, builds, sells, and operates solar power and battery energy storage projects, operates solar power plants, and sells electricity and related services. It also offers power operation and maintenance services, including monitoring, inspection, repair, and replacement of plant equipment, as well as site management and administrative support for solar projects, and asset management services. The company serves distributors, system integrators, project developers, installers, EPC companies, utility companies, public utilities, licensed suppliers, corporate offtakers, and commercial, industrial, or government end users, primarily under its Canadian Solar brand. Its products are sold under the CSI, CS PowerTech, CSI Solar, Recurrent Energy, e-STORAGE, SolBank, KuBank, and EP Cube brand names. Canadian Solar Inc. was incorporated in 2001 and is based in Kitchener, Canada.
