City Natural Resources High Yield Trust plc is a closed-ended balanced mutual fund launched and managed by CQS Asset Management Ltd. It invests globally in public equity and fixed income markets, focusing on stocks of companies in the mining and resources sectors. Its fixed income portion primarily holds mining, resource and industrial fixed interest securities such as preference shares, loan stocks and corporate bonds. The fund benchmarks its portfolio against a composite of two-thirds Euromoney Global Mining Index and one-third Credit Suisse High Yield Index. It was formerly known as Aberdeen Latin American Trust, was formed in August 2003, and is domiciled in the United Kingdom.
