DiaMedica expects ReMEDy2 stroke trial interim analysis in Q1 2027 as enrollment passes 85% of 200-patient trigger
DiaMedica Therapeutics now anticipates the interim efficacy analysis for its ReMEDy2 acute ischemic stroke trial will read out in the first quarter of 2027, a shift from prior guidance of year-end 2026, as enrollment has surpassed 85% of the 200-patient trigger. President and CEO Dietrich Pauls said enrollment slowed somewhat in July but the company is approaching the threshold required for the prespecified analysis. The company also completed enrollment in the first cohort of a Phase II early onset fetal growth restriction study and plans to share top-line results in September. For early onset preeclampsia, DiaMedica expects to dose the first patient in a company-sponsored Phase II trial in the fourth quarter of this year and is working to expand the study to the United Kingdom. As of June 30, 2026, cash and investments totaled $43.5 million, which management believes will fund operations through 2027.
