It offers LED lighting products for military maritime markets, including Intellitube and Invisitube retrofit LEDs, and military-grade LED fixtures such as globe lights, berth lights, and high-bay kits for the U.S. Navy and allied foreign navies. The company also provides energy-saving GaN power supplies, energy storage systems (ESS), and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) products for AI data centers. Its commercial products include RedCap emergency backup LED tubes, LED retrofit kits for fluorescent lamps, downlights, low/high-bay fixtures, and industrial LED dock lights. Products are sold to commercial, industrial, and military markets through direct sales employees, lighting agents, independent sales representatives, distributors, and e-commerce channels. Formerly known as Fiberstars, Inc., it changed its name to Energy Focus, Inc. in May 2007. The company was founded in 1985 and is based in Solon, Ohio.
