Golden Cup Electric's first-half revenue rises 27% to 11.861 billion yuan, driven by overseas business and emerging applications
Golden Cup Electric disclosed its 2026 semi-annual report, with first-half operating revenue reaching 11.861 billion yuan, up 27.07% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to the parent company of 317 million yuan, up 6.96%. Overseas business advanced in depth, with direct exports of electromagnetic wire exceeding 5,000 tonnes, up 64% year-on-year, and direct export sales of cables surging significantly. The European base secured its first order from a leading local transformer company in the Czech Republic, with trial production expected in the third quarter. The electromagnetic wire industry center posted revenue of 5.106 billion yuan, up 36%, with sales of flat electromagnetic wire for ultra-high voltage transformers rising 21% and sales of flat electromagnetic wire for industrial motors rising 40%. The cable industry center posted revenue of 6.717 billion yuan, up 21%, with direct sales shipments to major customers exceeding 4.3 billion yuan, up 20%. Revenue from three emerging application areas — clean energy, smart grids, and intelligent equipment — reached 7.161 billion yuan, with their share of total revenue rising to 60% from 50% in the same period last year. Three transposed conductor production lines at the Wuxi base were put into operation ahead of schedule, adding a theoretical annual capacity of 5,000 tonnes of flat electromagnetic wire for transformers.
