National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT) has launched NT nexConnect, a broadband internet service via low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites from Eutelsat OneWeb, to connect remote areas and signal dead zones. The service initially targets corporate and government customers, with plans to expand to general consumers in early 2027. NT is the official representative of Eutelsat OneWeb in Thailand and uses the domestic Satellite Network Portal (SNP) Gateway infrastructure to support data security. NT also plans to launch NT Rural Wi-Fi in the fourth quarter of 2026, offering hourly coupon packages. Meanwhile, NT clarified that the comparison of service fees with other providers is based on different target groups and conditions: the starting package is 9,200 baht per month (excluding VAT), while the service for the general public is 1,440 baht per month.

Eutelsat Communications reported full-year 2025-2026 results with total revenue of €1,235.9 million, down 0.6% on a reported basis but up 3% like-for-like. LEO revenue surged nearly 70% year-on-year to €297 million, now representing 25% of group total revenues, while video revenue declined 13.1% to €519 million. Adjusted EBITDA fell 6.5% to €632 million with a margin of 51.2%, and the net loss narrowed to €457 million from €1.1 billion a year earlier. The company completed a €5 billion refinancing package and secured a $350 million call-off contract under the Nexus framework with the French Ministry of Armed Forces. CapEx came in below expectations at €594 million, and net debt dropped to €1.46 billion, improving the net debt to EBITDA ratio to 2.32 times from 3.9 times.

Gogo announced that Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has received an FAA Supplemental Type Certificate to install Gogo Galileo HDX on Gulfstream G650 and Gulfstream G650ER aircraft. HDX is an electronically steered antenna providing a compact, lightweight, low-power, high-performance connectivity solution for Gulfstream large cabin aircraft, powered by Eutelsat’s OneWeb low earth orbit network. The tail-mounted Under The Radome installation minimizes downtime, maximizes performance, and is backwards compatible with existing network equipment. Operators will also have access to Gogo’s suite of value-added services, including advanced cybersecurity features and 24/7/365 customer support.
