First Breach Completes First Drone Prototype Flight, Targets Q2 2027 Production Scale-Up
First Breach has completed the first flight of its proprietary drone prototype and is targeting the second quarter of 2027 to begin scaling production, with planned capacity of more than 2,500 drones per week as it expands beyond ammunition into unmanned aerial systems. The company expects to complete its initial prototypes in the fourth quarter of 2026 before beginning to scale production in Q2 2027. A strategic agreement with Hellbender provides engineering, design, technical support and component manufacturing, while First Breach retains ownership of the drone platforms and intellectual property. More than 200,000 square feet of contiguous space at the company's Maryland facility is designed to support drone manufacturing, robotic assembly, automated logistics and additional ammunition production.
