It operates through two segments, flatex and DEGIRO, offering execution-only securities transactions under the flatex brand, and funds, saving plans, stocks, crypto, exchange-traded products, and exchange-traded funds, as well as services for professional traders under the ViTrade brand. The company also provides securities settlement and payment transaction processing, business process outsourcing, securities-backed loans, and treasury products such as overnight and fixed-term deposits, bank and government bonds, cash loans, and mortgage bonds, along with undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities and special funds. In addition, it develops and maintains software and hardware and operates information technology infrastructure, and offers Core Banking System, a platform for mapping bank business processes. The company was formerly known as flatexDEGIRO AG and changed its name to flatexDEGIRO SE in December 2025. It was founded in 1999 and is based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

flatexDEGIRO Appoints Dominik Beier as Chief Growth Officer

flatexDEGIRO, one of Europe's leading online brokerage platforms, has created the new position of Chief Growth Officer and appointed Dominik Beier to drive its next growth phase. Beier, who will report directly to CEO Oliver Behrens as a divisional board member, will oversee growth and brand strategy and foster closer integration between product, customer experience, and marketing. He brings extensive experience from roles including Chief Commercial Officer at Bitpanda, CEO of Interwetten Group, and senior leadership at Sportradar. Beier will assume his role in January 2027. The company serves over 3.5 million customers across 16 countries, holds more than EUR 100 billion in assets under custody, and executed over 75 million securities transactions in 2025.
