Global Industrial reports 7.7% revenue growth and $0.96 GAAP EPS in Q2 2026

Global Industrial reported second-quarter 2026 net sales of $386.6 million, a 7.7% increase driven by volume and price growth across customer verticals, with average daily sales up 9.3% marking the third consecutive quarter of high single-digit gains. GAAP diluted earnings per share reached $0.96, a 47.7% jump largely due to a one-time $26.2 million benefit from IEEPA tariff refunds, while non-GAAP diluted EPS was $0.54 excluding a $0.42 per share refund impact. Non-GAAP gross margin declined to 34.7% from 37.1% a year earlier, reflecting transportation inflation and shifts in product and channel mix, and the company highlighted that its GPO initiative reached an annualized sales run rate of $100 million. Canada revenue grew 33.7% in local currency, the fourth straight quarter of double-digit growth, and U.S. revenue rose 6.3% supported by strategic accounts and vertical specialization. The company ended the quarter with $86.7 million in cash and no debt, repurchased $4.7 million in shares, and declared a quarterly dividend of $0.28 per share.
