HFT reports second-quarter profit surges 87% to 48 million baht

Hua Fong Rubber Thailand Public Company Limited, or HFT, reported a second-quarter 2026 net profit of 48.12 million baht, up 86.77% from the same period last year. The jump was driven by a foreign exchange gain of 13.15 million baht, reversing a loss of 29.24 million baht a year earlier, and a recovery in gross profit margin to 14.26% from 12.85%. Total sales revenue came in at 693.69 million baht, up 3.47%, while EBITDA stood at 93.91 million baht, a 66.33% increase. However, income tax expenses rose by 15.63 million baht as BOI incentives expired.
