It also offers flat panel display systems, integrated global navigation systems, global positioning systems, C-130 engine instrument display systems, the Liberty flight deck, and communications/navigation products. The company serves business aircraft, commercial airlines, military, virtual co-pilots, and turboprop markets. It was formerly known as Innovative Solutions and Support, Inc. and changed its name to Innovative Aerosystems, Inc. in October 2025. Incorporated in 1988, it is based in Exton, Pennsylvania.

Innovative Aerosystems Q3 net income rises to $4.5 million

Innovative Aerosystems reported third-quarter fiscal 2026 net income of $4.5 million, or $0.25 per diluted share, up from $2.4 million, or $0.14 per share, a year earlier. Net sales rose 10.7% to $26.7 million, driven by organic growth in commercial and business aviation markets, while gross margin expanded to 51.7% from 35.6%. Adjusted EBITDA increased approximately 75% to $7.7 million, and the company guided fourth-quarter revenue to between $28 million and $30 million. The company also announced a $50 million eVTOL contract with a leading Japanese developer, the acquisition of Aydin Displays, and a planned ticker change from ISSC to IA on August 18, 2026.
