Karelian Diamond Resources Plc is engaged in the exploration and development of diamond deposits. Its interests include the Lahtojoki diamond project in the Kuopio-Kaavi region of Finland, the Seitaperä diamondiferous kimberlite pipe project in Kuhmo, Finland, and the Riihivaara diamond projects in the Kuhmo area of Finland. The company also explores for nickel, copper, and platinum group metals in Northern Ireland. Incorporated in 2004, it is headquartered in Shannon, Ireland.
