It currently owns 142 farms totaling approximately 98,000 acres across 14 states, plus nearly 56,000 acre-feet (over 18.1 billion gallons) of water assets in California. Its farms predominantly grow fresh produce annual row crops, such as berries and vegetables, while others grow permanent crops including almonds, blueberries, figs, olives, pistachios, and wine grapes. The company pays monthly distributions to stockholders and has paid 162 consecutive monthly cash distributions on its common stock since its January 2013 initial public offering; the current distribution is $0.0467 per share per month, or $0.5604 per year.
