Lantronix guided fiscal first-quarter revenue to $31 million to $33 million and non-GAAP EPS to $0.04 to $0.06, while reiterating that unmanned systems will represent 15% to 20% of total revenue in fiscal 2027, with management expecting around $25 million-plus in unmanned revenue for the year. The company reported fiscal Q4 revenue of $31.2 million, up 8% year-over-year, and non-GAAP EPS of $0.04, a 300% increase. Fiscal 2026 revenue was nearly $121 million, up 8% from fiscal 2025's just over $111 million, excluding Gridspertise. Unmanned systems revenue for fiscal 2026 was $12.6 million, driven by policy catalysts including FCC restrictions on China-based DJI and Section 232 tariffs on foreign-made drones. Lantronix also acquired Vecima Networks' Industrial IoT business for $11.7 million, adding about $5 million in annual revenue, and ended the fiscal year debt-free with over $60 million in cash.

Lantronix and Swarmer are jointly developing a custom computing platform optimized for Group 1 unmanned aircraft systems. The platform integrates Lantronix's Open-Q 6490CS system-on-module with Swarmer's combat-proven autonomous flight software, which has supported over 100,000 real-world missions in Ukraine since April 2024. It delivers approximately four times the computing performance of existing onboard systems, enabling advanced AI, computer vision, and autonomous mission capabilities at the tactical edge. The solution is designed to be NDAA-compliant and production-ready, supporting rapid deployment of FPV drones and other small, low-cost unmanned systems for Ukraine, the U.S., and allied defense programs. Swarmer's president and U.S. CEO Alex Fink stated that the platform is expected to become a new industry-standard computing solution for small unmanned systems, with Swarmer OS and advanced autonomy technology included as standard.

Lantronix has announced a strategic collaboration with Estonian-Ukrainian defense technology company DoD Solution to deploy an Edge AI drone platform in Ukraine. The partnership integrates DoD Solution's AURA AI onboard autonomy platform with Lantronix's Qualcomm-based Open-Q 6490CS Solution, providing SWaP-optimized edge compute for FPV drones, fixed-wing UAVs, and interceptor systems. Engineering teams have completed platform integration, and initial production is now underway, with the program ramping to meet growing demand across the region. Lantronix expects the collaboration to expand its presence in the global defense autonomy market and support long-term recurring revenue opportunities through advanced engineering services. The companies aim to accelerate deployment timelines and advance next-generation drone capabilities for European and global markets.

Vecima Networks will sell the assets of its Telematics mobile and fixed-asset tracking segment, including its Nero Global Tracking software, to Lantronix in an all-cash transaction worth C$16.5 million. The purchase price includes C$14.5 million payable at closing and an additional C$2.0 million payable by year-end 2026. The transaction represents an asset sale and is expected to close in the near term, subject to customary closing conditions. The Telematics business has been a part of Vecima since 2016.

Lantronix Inc. announced the 10-year anniversary of its Indian subsidiary, Lantronix India Pvt. Ltd., which was incorporated in May 2016 and has grown into a strategic engineering and innovation hub supporting the company’s global product development. The unit now employs more than 120 professionals, including 110 engineers, developers and technical experts, and has contributed to next-generation Edge AI, industrial connectivity and smart infrastructure solutions. CEO Saleel Awsare said the India organization strengthens global competitiveness and positions the company to capitalize on growing demand for AI-powered edge computing and Industrial IoT solutions. Key achievements include delivering secure connectivity for critical infrastructure, accelerating digital transformation aligned with Digital India and Make in India initiatives, and advancing autonomous systems such as UAV, drone and Edge AI technologies for public safety, defense and smart infrastructure.
