Live Nation Entertainment's general counsel Michael Rowles sold 1,084 shares for $197,039 in a non-discretionary transaction to cover tax liabilities from vesting restricted stock, leaving him with 200,806 shares worth $36.5 million. The filing comes as the company reported second-quarter revenue rose 9% to $7.7 billion, drew nearly 49 million fans, and booked a record $6.4 billion in tickets for future shows. Twenty-one states ask court to review DOJ-Live Nation settlement

Twenty-one states that joined a broader antitrust lawsuit against Live Nation are asking a federal court to review the Department of Justice's proposed settlement, arguing it is not in the public interest. The states cite the Tunney Act, which requires oversight of antitrust settlements, and contend the deal is insufficient to meaningfully increase competition. The settlement, reached in March, would create a $280 million fund for impacted states, divest 13 exclusive booking agreements, cap fees at 15% of face value, and open events to competing ticket platforms, but it does not require Live Nation to divest Ticketmaster. The states continued their separate lawsuit, and after a six-week trial Live Nation was found guilty of monopolizing the market for ticket services, concert ticketing, venues, and promotions. The DOJ-Live Nation settlement is under a 60-day public comment period ending September 4, 2026.

Lowe's Companies has announced a multi-year partnership with Live Nation Entertainment to offer exclusive live music benefits to members of its MyLowe's Rewards and MyLowe's Pro Rewards programs, including concert perks and amphitheater tailgate experiences at select venues starting this summer. The move expands the home improvement retailer's loyalty program into entertainment experiences, aiming to deepen customer engagement beyond the store. While the partnership is a brand and loyalty enhancement rather than a core earnings driver, it comes alongside a recent dividend increase to $1.25 per share, reflecting management's confidence in cash generation and capital allocation. Lowe's faces a still-muted home improvement backdrop and higher leverage following its acquisition of FBM, factors that investors should weigh against the company's long-term growth narrative.
