MONO undergoes major restructuring toward Streaming-First

MONO has announced a major organizational restructuring toward a Streaming-First approach under its The Next Chapter strategy, after MONOMAX reached a user base of more than 3.5 million. Chief Executive Officer Navamin Prasopnet said the change starts with users at the center, connecting content, technology, experiences, and partners. On sports content, MONOMAX has set four main pillars: the Premier League, EURO 2028, Volleyball World, and the World Cup 2026 and 2030, while extending into Original Content under the concept Stories You Won’t Find Anywhere Else and expanding post-match experiences through 72 Hours Content, Watch Party, and Cheer To The Max Trip. At the same time, it is moving forward with revenue generation and partnerships under the concept More Value in Every Subscription, upgrading the platform to support a large number of simultaneous users, and increasing transparency through real-time MONOMAX System Status.

MONO announces full transformation to Streaming-First, championing MONOMAX

Mono Next Public Company Limited, or MONO, has announced a major step in its official corporate transformation under a 100% Streaming-First direction, following the completion of internal management restructuring aimed at building a full streaming ecosystem, with the MONOMAX platform as the main spearhead driving the business. Chief Executive Officer Navamin Prasopnet revealed that the company has shifted the mindset of its people to start from user needs as the center, while dividing its working structure into five main pillars: Sports Content, Original Content, Growth and Experience, Revenue and Partnership, and Platform. In sports, MONO holds the rights to the English Premier League and FA Cup for six consecutive seasons together with JAS, as well as Euro 2028, Volleyball World, and the World Cup 2026 and 2030, with volleyball package subscriptions growing past 150,000 by the end of the recent season. On the revenue side, the company has added an AVOD model, or free viewing with advertising, to attract advertising money from television to the online platform, and is preparing to launch full services in Vietnam this August. For pricing strategy, MONO is focusing on encouraging members to switch to annual packages, with a premium package priced at 399 baht per month, or annual promotions averaging about 250 to 500 baht per month, along with a feature allowing payment in four monthly installments. In terms of performance, in the past second quarter the company returned to profitability thanks to serious organizational restructuring, including cutting redundant expenses, removing unprofitable units, and downsizing the organization, while the CFO team is accelerating management of legacy outstanding debts and continuously negotiating debt restructuring with financial institutions to keep shareholders' equity from turning negative.

Thai stock market closes down 5.30 points; TKC profit surges 348%

The Thai stock market closed at 1,609.06 points, down 5.30 points or 0.33%, with turnover of 81.76 billion baht. TKC reported second-quarter 2026 profit of 87.38 million baht, up 348%, and total revenue of 1.03 billion baht, up 148.67%, driven by the national learning management platform development project and the expansion of central government cloud services, with a backlog of 3.35 billion baht. The board of SO approved an interim dividend for the first six months of 2026 at 0.18 baht per share, with the stock trading ex-dividend on 27 August 2026 and payment on 10 September 2026, after total revenue of 1.43 billion baht and net profit of 102.92 million baht. WICE reported first-half service revenue of 2.8 billion baht, up 22.4%, and net profit of 48 million baht. Mono Streaming, a subsidiary of MONO, has chosen the AWS Asia Pacific Thailand Region to upgrade the infrastructure of its Monomax platform, which has more than 4 million registered users, in preparation for 4K streaming of the 2026/27 Premier League football season.

Monomax upgrades streaming on AWS, ready for 4K Premier League 2026/27

Monomax, the streaming platform of Mono Streaming Company Limited under MONO, has selected the AWS Asia Pacific Thailand Region as its core infrastructure to improve stability, security, and support for large audiences, preparing for 4K streaming of the 2026/27 Premier League season. During the 2025/26 season, the platform supported more than 400,000 concurrent viewers in the match between Manchester United and Liverpool. The new architecture uses AWS Elemental Media Services, Amazon CloudFront, AWS WAF, and AWS Shield Advanced, along with Amazon ECS, Amazon ElastiCache, and Amazon RDS, to support live sports and on-demand content. Monomax is also preparing to launch a Public Service Status Page so users can check service status, and has received cooperation from JAS as the rights holder for global sports including the Premier League, Emirates FA Cup, Volleyball World Championship, and UEFA European Championship.
