Nephros posts record $6 million quarterly revenue, net income surges over 400%

Nephros, Inc. reported second-quarter 2026 net revenue of $6 million, the highest quarterly revenue in its history, with net income increasing over 400% to approximately $1.2 million. CEO Robert Banks highlighted that core programmatic product revenue grew double digits year-over-year while service-only revenue nearly tripled, and the company is building an integrated water safety platform around products, services, and education. CFO Judy Krandel noted gross profit margin rose to approximately 67% from 63%, primarily due to a $600,000 tariff refund recognized as a reduction of cost of goods sold, though she warned that ongoing U.S. tariff policy will continue to impair margins. The company ended the quarter with approximately $4.7 million in cash and remains debt-free, and management reiterated priorities of expanding its installed base, increasing service and replacement activity, and improving underlying margins.
