NZX H1 2026 Operating Earnings Up 8.8%, Dividend Raised
NZX Ltd reported first-half 2026 operating earnings of $27.3 million, up 8.8%, with net profit after tax rising 18% to $9.8 million and earnings per share up 17% to $0.03. The company declared a fully imputed interim dividend of $0.032 per share, a 6.7% increase. Operating revenue grew 13.3% to $76.6 million, while operating expenses rose to $49.3 million, reducing the operating margin to 35.6% from 37%. Capital raised on NZX markets surged 25.2% to $6 billion year-to-date, with new capital listings up 69.1% to $2.5 billion, excluding Fonterra Co-operative Group transfer. Smart's funds under management grew 20.5% to $18 billion, and Wealth Technologies' funds under administration rose 20.1% to $21.1 billion. The company maintained its full-year 2026 operating earnings guidance of $53 million to $58.5 million.
