Copart Reports Earnings Tomorrow: What to Expect
Copart will report its quarterly earnings after the bell on Thursday, with analysts expecting revenue to grow 1.4% year on year, a slowdown from the 5.2% increase recorded in the same quarter last year. In its last report, the online vehicle auction company beat revenue expectations with $1.24 billion, up 2.1% year on year, and also exceeded EPS estimates. Analysts have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the past 30 days, though Copart has missed Wall Street's revenue estimates multiple times in the last two years. Among its peers in the business services and supplies segment, OPENLANE reported a 15.1% revenue increase, beating expectations by 4.4%, while RB Global saw revenues up 11.1%, topping estimates by 6.8%; both stocks fell after their results. Copart shares have risen 10.8% over the past month, and the average analyst price target stands at $41, compared to the current share price of $32.80.
