PAMT Corp Posts Narrower Q2 Loss on Logistics Growth
PAMT Corp reported a narrower second-quarter 2026 loss, driven by a 24% revenue increase in its Logistics Operations segment. The company posted a loss per share of 36 cents, improving from a loss of 46 cents a year earlier, while operating revenues rose 8.9% to $164.7 million. Logistics Operations generated $50.8 million in revenue, up from $41 million, and its operating ratio improved to 96.4% from 98.7%. Truckload Operations saw total miles increase to 43.6 million, but revenue per total mile before fuel surcharge declined to $1.98 from $2.04. Results included a one-time $3.1 million accrual for auto liability claims from prior years, which increased the net loss by $2.3 million after tax.
