Phoenix Mecano AG manufactures and sells industrial components worldwide through its subsidiaries. It operates in three divisions: Enclosure Systems, DewertOkin Technology Group, and Industrial Components. The Enclosure Systems division produces industrial and electronic enclosures, human-machine interface solutions, input units, and provides system integration, toolmaking, plastic injection moulding, and aluminum die casting. The DewertOkin Technology Group division manufactures drives, systems, and fittings for electrically adjustable comfort and healthcare furniture, ergonomic office workstations, and nursing and hospital beds, along with mechanical components and smart-health software. The Industrial Components division supplies linear units, lifting columns, aluminium profile and tube connection systems, ergonomic workstation systems, terminal blocks, connector systems, test probes, series terminals, inductors, switches, measuring systems, transformers, instrument transformers, and electric cylinders. Formerly known as Phoenix Maschinentechnik AG, it changed its name to Phoenix Mecano AG in 1986. The company was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Stein am Rhein, Switzerland.
