Powerus and Aureus Greenway Announce $22.3 Million Counter-Drone Contract

Powerus, a U.S.-based autonomous systems company, has executed a commercial contract valued at approximately $22.3 million to provide networked counter-unmanned aircraft system detection, tracking, classification, and early-warning capabilities for critical oil and gas infrastructure in the Middle East. The agreement covers hardware, software, site activation, installation, and a 24-month integrated maintenance program, with unified command and control at the customer's operations center. The system architecture is designed to support the further integration of Powerus' Guardian interceptor technology as operational requirements evolve. The identity of the contracting customer and specific deployment locations are not being disclosed. Powerus is in the process of merging with Aureus Greenway Holdings Inc., whose registration statement on Form S-4 was declared effective by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on August 12, 2026, with the combination expected to close in early October 2026.

Powerus unit wins U.S. Air Force IDIQ contract worth up to $90 million

Powerus announced that its subsidiary Tandem Defense LLC won a U.S. Air Force IDIQ contract with a maximum value of up to $90 million. The contract covers Group 1 aerial-denial unmanned aircraft systems, support equipment, operator training, and field service support, and runs through mid-2028 with work locations determined by future task orders. The $90 million represents the contract ceiling, not guaranteed revenue, and actual sales will depend on future Air Force orders managed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. Separately, Powerus noted that its proposed merger with Aureus Greenway has not yet closed and remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
