Seeing Machines wins €5 million driver monitoring contract with European carmaker

Seeing Machines has won a new driver monitoring contract with a European carmaker worth around $5 million in lifetime revenue, as new EU safety rules make the technology mandatory on new vehicles. Production starts in 2028, with the system built into a rear-view mirror for easy deployment across multiple platforms. Frontier IP portfolio company Cambridge Raman Imaging has secured a €400,000 European grant to scale up its AI-powered pharmaceutical quality control technology and appointed a China-based distributor with over 100 customers globally. ImmuPharma has appointed Thermo Fisher Scientific to develop and manufacture the finished form of its experimental diabetes treatment Kapiglucagon, completing the main manufacturing partnerships alongside Swiss group Bachem, which is handling the active ingredient. MP Evans grew crude palm oil production 11% to 192,300 tonnes in the first half, supported by higher harvests across its Indonesian estates, with pricing holding firm at around $873 per tonne. Quantum Blockchain Technologies announced that its BlocKeeper subsidiary has been incorporated in Malta and plans to build a capital-light Bitcoin virtual mining operation by acquiring and managing hash rate from industry participants.
