Its products include cellular and bespoke plated beams, safety systems under the Seversafe brand, MetFloor metal decking, MetPurl industrial building systems, and associated cold-formed steel construction products. It also provides design, manufacturing, fabrication, delivery, construction, and project management services to sectors such as commercial offices, stadia and leisure, industrial and distribution, data centres, retail, health and education, nuclear, transport, process industries, and power and energy. Formerly known as Severfield-Rowen plc, it changed its name to Severfield plc in May 2014; it was founded in 1978 and is headquartered in Thirsk, the United Kingdom.
