It builds, expands, rehabilitates, and upgrades water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, including desalination plants, and applies treatment technologies such as ozonation, biological activated carbon, membrane filtration, reverse osmosis, chemical treatment, and oxidation. The company also constructs and upgrades dams, reservoirs, water conveyance and storage systems, flood control systems, pump stations, coastal protection, levees, and flood walls, and it builds light passenger rail, bus rapid transit, personal rapid transit, and autonomous transportation systems while supporting data center construction for critical infrastructure. It is involved in water supply, hydroelectric power generation, and flood control. Formerly known as SCCI National Holdings, Inc., it changed its name to Shimmick Corporation in September 2023, was founded in 1990, and is headquartered in Irvine, California.

Shimmick updates 2026 revenue guidance to $525M-$575M, launches mission-critical unit

Shimmick Corporation updated its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to approximately $525 million to $575 million, representing about 12% growth at the midpoint, while reaffirming adjusted EBITDA guidance of $15 million to $30 million. The company also established a dedicated mission-critical business unit to pursue data center and related opportunities, with a West Virginia data center project moving into preconstruction and construction expected to start within 60 days. Second-quarter consolidated revenue was $107 million, gross margin improved to 12% from 6% a year earlier, and adjusted EBITDA reached $4 million. Backlog rose to $991 million, its highest level in two years, and the company secured an additional $221 million in new awards after the quarter ended.
