SciSparc announced that its subsidiary NeuroThera Labs has completed internal validation of a proprietary quantum sampling workflow for clinical trials data analysis. The workflow, which represents continuous probability distributions within a quantum computing framework, was developed and evaluated using a hybrid quantum-classical computing platform from an S&P 500 company. This validation supports a key component of NeuroThera's broader computational architecture and is expected to expand capabilities for analyzing large-scale clinical and biomedical datasets. NeuroThera Labs, a subsidiary of SciSparc, has initiated its Phase IIb clinical trial site at Hannover Medical School in Germany for SCI-110, its proprietary cannabinoid-based treatment candidate for Tourette Syndrome in adults. The trial, which previously received regulatory clearance from Germany’s Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices and the ethics committee at Hannover Medical School, will also be conducted at Yale Child Study Center in New Haven, Connecticut, and Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel. The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, cross-over study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of daily oral SCI-110 in patients aged 18 to 65, with the primary endpoint being the change in tic severity measured by the Yale Global Tic Severity Scale at weeks 12 and 26 compared to baseline. The Phase IIb trial builds on positive Phase IIa results that showed an average tic reduction of 21% across all participants.
