The Rolling Stock segment produces high-speed, intercity, and regional trains, city transport vehicles, locomotives, custom-made rail vehicles, passenger coaches, light rails, and trams. The Service & Components segment offers revision, spare parts, vehicle repair, modernization, overhauling, and maintenance services, and supplies vehicle components such as car bodies and bogies. The Signalling segment develops and distributes signalling solutions for vehicles and infrastructure, including train protection, communication-based train control for driverless operation, automatic train operation, driving assistance systems, interlocking technologies, and trackside components for automatic train protection, along with planning and implementation services for security systems. Founded in 1942, the company is headquartered in Bussnang, Switzerland.
