Silvaco Partners with Dassault Systèmes on Semiconductor Digital Twin Workflows

Silvaco Group announced a partnership with Dassault Systèmes to develop interoperable digital twin workflows for semiconductor manufacturing. The collaboration will connect Silvaco's Victory Process feature-scale simulation with Dassault Systèmes' SIMULIA plasma and structural analysis tools, enabling multiscale studies of etch and deposition processes and transfer of structures into stress and deformation analyses. The companies aim to help manufacturers achieve first-time-right process development, accelerate yield ramps, and reduce costly fab experiments. Silvaco CEO Walden C. Rhines said the partnership combines Silvaco's process simulation expertise with SIMULIA's multiphysics leadership to advance digital twin adoption across the industry.

Silvaco and NVIDIA partner to accelerate physics-based digital twins for semiconductor design and manufacturing

Silvaco Group and NVIDIA announced a collaboration to advance next-generation digital twins for semiconductor design and manufacturing using NVIDIA accelerated computing and AI. Silvaco will combine its physics-based modeling expertise with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing, CUDA-X libraries, PhysicsNeMo, Omniverse libraries, and Nemotron open models to help customers build, train, and deploy high-fidelity digital twins. As an early proof point, Silvaco completed a fully scaled 3D FDTD simulation of a photonic edge coupler with 3.2 billion mesh nodes on 32 NVIDIA GPUs connected with NVLink in under four hours, achieving less than 0.15 dB difference between measurement and simulation. The partnership focuses on GPU-accelerated physics simulation, AI-driven surrogate modeling, digital twin visualization and collaboration, and scaled engineering workflows. Silvaco expects the combined technologies to help customers reduce simulation cycles from weeks to days, improve accuracy and insight, and scale engineering and collaboration.
