The Property and Facilities Management segment manages commercial, residential, leisure, and agricultural properties for owners; and provides services to occupiers of properties, including strategic advice and project management, as well as various services relating to a property. The Investment Management segment is involved in the investment management of commercial and residential property portfolios for institutional, corporate, or private investors on a pooled or segregated account basis. The Consultancy segment offers various professional property services, such as valuation, project management and housing consultancy, environmental consultancy, landlord and tenant, rating, development, planning, strategic projects, and corporate services and research. Savills plc was founded in 1855 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.

Drew Morris Joins Cushman & Wakefield as Executive Managing Director in Houston

Cushman & Wakefield announced that Drew Morris has joined the firm as Executive Managing Director in its Houston office tenant representation group. Morris brings nearly 30 years of commercial real estate experience, having closed more than 500 transactions on over 11 million square feet of commercial space in Houston and across Texas. He joins from Savills, where he was an Executive Managing Director, and previously served as President of the Houston Office Leasing Brokers Association. Travis Overall, Cushman & Wakefield Houston Managing Principal, said Morris is an ideal addition to the firm's occupier-advisory business.

Cross-border capital fuels European hotel investment to record levels

Cross-border investment is reshaping the European hotel market, with total hotel investment reaching €21.9 billion in 2024, a five-year high and a 47.6% increase from the previous year, according to Savills. Cross-border investors accounted for €12.9 billion, or 58.6% of that total. In 2025, HVS reported European hotel transactions worth €22.6 billion, the highest annual total since 2019. Southern Europe has become a key destination, with Spain alone attracting about €4.2 billion in hotel investment in 2025, representing 18% of all European hotel transaction volume. London was ranked Europe's most attractive city for hotel investment for the second consecutive year in CBRE's 2025 European Hotel Investor Intentions Survey.

DFW Office Market Gains Momentum in First Half of 2026

The Dallas-Fort Worth office market saw leasing volume reach 7.6 million square feet in the first half of 2026, up nearly 13% from the same period in 2025, according to Savills USA. Overall availability declined to 26% from 28.1%, and asking rents rose to an average of $34.44 per square foot. Sublease inventory shrank by roughly 2.5 million square feet over the past year, signaling fewer companies are shedding excess space. Demand remains concentrated in high-quality buildings, with Uptown commanding about $60 per square foot, while downtown Dallas posted a 33.9% availability rate, highlighting an uneven recovery.
