TATG first-half profit reaches 41.38 million baht

Thai Auto Tools and Die Public Company Limited, or TATG, reported a net profit of 41.38 million baht for the first half of 2026, down only 2.73 percent from the same period last year. Total revenue was 1.18965 billion baht, down 13.56 percent, while the net profit margin rose to 3.48 percent from 3.09 percent due to efficient control of cost of sales and operating expenses. The financial position strengthened, with total liabilities falling 16.72 percent to 973.25 million baht and the debt-to-equity ratio declining from 1.05 times to 0.84 times. The company said the revenue decline came from a slowdown in the auto parts manufacturing business and the tool design and manufacturing business, as orders for internal combustion engine vehicles and pickup trucks slowed. However, there were positive signs from the domestic market, with vehicle production for domestic sales in the first six months expanding 7.35 percent, supported by the EV 3.0 and EV 3.5 measures and rising demand for hybrid vehicles. TATG is also continuing to apply AI automation and robotic arms to improve production efficiency and maintain profit margins over the long term.
