TSE second-quarter profit jumps 84 percent, advancing 229 megawatts of solar projects
Thai Solar Energy Public Company Limited, or TSE, reported second-quarter net profit for 2026 of 26 million baht, up 84.4 percent from the same period last year. Gross profit was 132.1 million baht, up 22.9 percent, as cost of sales and services fell 19.9 percent and finance costs dropped 28.5 percent following loan repayments. The company is moving ahead with phases one and two of its Solar Big Lot project, with total offered capacity of 229.06 megawatts. The first phase comprises four projects totaling 30.20 megawatts, targeted for commercial operation in early 2027, while another 24 projects totaling 198.86 megawatts will come online gradually from 2028 to 2030 to build recurring income and long-term cash flow.
