TT Electronics H1 Profit Surges 37%
TT Electronics reported a 37% surge in adjusted operating profit to GBP18.5 million for the first half of fiscal 2026, with operating margin expanding 230 basis points to 8.1%, despite a 2.7% decline in revenue at constant currency. Excluding one-off factors, sales grew around 4%. The order book reached approximately GBP550 million at the end of June, up 20% year-over-year, and the company expects full-year adjusted operating profit to exceed current market expectations. The Power division's revenue was flat, with a 14% operating margin, while the EMS division's revenue fell 8% but grew about 7% excluding product transfers, and the Components division returned to profitability with 6% revenue growth despite a 5% impact from the Plano closure. The company also highlighted a significant multi-year agreement with Rolls-Royce for life-of-type support and a material contract award for the Eurofighter Typhoon programme, but noted it does not expect to reinstate the dividend for fiscal 2026.
