VP Bank Singapore names Vincent Koo as chief risk officer
VP Bank Singapore has named Vincent Koo as its new chief risk officer, effective 24 August 2026. He will oversee risk, control and operational matters at the branch, supporting its governance framework and risk oversight as it pursues longer-term expansion. Koo has more than 30 years of experience in audit, compliance and risk functions at financial institutions, most recently serving as regional head of compliance at Bank J Safra Sarasin in Singapore for over four years. VP Bank Asia CIO and Singapore branch head Thomas Rupf said Koo's extensive experience and leadership across risk, compliance and governance will be a valuable asset to the bank. VP Bank Singapore Branch was set up in 2008 and provides banking services, asset management offerings and family office services for wealthy private clients and professional asset managers.
