The company's managed solutions include telecom lifecycle management that provides customers a full visibility of its telecom assets; and mobile and identity management, a multifactor authentication solution to conduct business through a secure portal, as well as mobile security solutions that protects users, devices, and corporate resources, including effective mobile program policies. It also provides digital billing and unified communications analytics solutions to large communications service providers that enable its customers to view and analyze the bills online. In addition, the company offers IT as a service, including cybersecurity, cloud services, network operations, and professional services; outsourcing solutions, such as hardware, software, and network and associated management; development operations support, artificial intelligence implementation, and the Microsoft stack of technologies; and migration to the cloud services. Further, it provides carrier services comprising phone, data and satellite, and related mobile services for a connected device or end point. The company was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia.

WidePoint ITMS Command Center Deployment Remains on Schedule

WidePoint Corporation said deployment of its FedRAMP Authorized ITMS Command Center Platform for a leading U.S. telecommunications carrier remains on schedule. The carrier expanded the scope of the implementation to support additional operational requirements, resulting in approximately $1.0 million of additional integration services beyond the original plan, with another purchase order of approximately $1.0 million expected. The underlying SaaS agreement, announced on November 4, 2025, is unchanged and is expected to generate approximately $40 million to $45 million in recurring, margin-accretive SaaS revenue over its five-year contract term, based on the anticipated deployment of approximately 2.0 million to 2.5 million managed devices. CEO Jin Kang said the deployment continues to meet key milestones, while the added integration work reflects the needs of a deployment of this scale and the carrier's confidence in WidePoint's team and technology.

WidePoint skyrockets 91% on exclusive DHS contract worth up to $3.1B

WidePoint was selected as the sole awardee of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Cellular Wireless Managed Services 3.0 contract, a 10-year agreement with a ceiling value of about $3.1 billion. The IDIQ contract includes a one-year base period and nine one-year option periods, with an ordering period that begins June 25, 2026. Under the award, WidePoint will provide and manage communications-related services supporting device lifecycle management, connectivity, security and operational requirements across DHS agencies. The contract has a maximum ceiling value of approximately $3.07 billion over the 10-year term, though actual revenue will depend on task orders issued during the contract period. Its stock price almost doubled, surging 91% to $32.85 after the news, during Thursday's pre-market trade.
