Xaar H1 2026 Earnings: Revenue Up 9.2%, Profit Returns

Xaar PLC reported a 9.2% year-on-year increase in group revenue on a like-for-like basis for the first half of fiscal 2026, with printhead revenue up 5.5%. Adjusted profit before tax was GBP 0.2 million, compared to a loss of GBP 0.7 million in the prior year, and gross margin improved by 220 basis points. The company's Megajet revenue rose 27% year-on-year, ceramics and glass revenue increased 11%, and Wi-Fi, graphics, and labels revenue grew 8%. Adjusted free cash flow was an outflow of GBP 4.3 million, primarily due to inventory build-up for the upcoming FlashForge desktop 3D printer launch, which has been delayed by technical issues but is expected within months. Xaar has expanded its credit facilities to GBP 20 million to support growth initiatives.
