Xeros Technology Group plc, together with its subsidiaries, provides technologies for the laundry and apparel industries in Europe, North America, and internationally. Its products include XOrbs, reusable polymer spheres that replace water and chemistry; XDrum, a technology that collects the XOrbs back into their storage system; XFilter, a washing machine filtration technology that prevents harmful microfibers such as microplastics from being released into rivers and oceans during the wash cycle; and XFN1 Denim and XFN2 Washing products. The company also researches, develops, and commercializes polymer technology alternatives to traditional aqueous-based technologies. Formerly known as Hamsard 3323 Limited, it changed its name to Xeros Technology Group plc in March 2014, was incorporated in 2013, and is based in Rotherham, the United Kingdom.
