Its offerings include commercial refrigeration systems for shops, catering, cafes, hotels, and small refrigerated warehouses, as well as central refrigeration systems, freezers, and refrigeration plants for food retailing and applications such as ice rinks, food processing, manufacturing, and offshore industries. The company also provides HVAC and comfort cooling and heating products, including climate control and ventilation for homes, offices, and shops, plus air-to-water heat pumps and chillers and heat pumps using natural refrigerants like carbon dioxide, ammonia, and propane. It distributes through branch networks and logistics centers in EMEA, APAC, and North America. Formerly G & L Beijer AB (publ), it changed its name to Beijer Ref AB (publ) in 2014, was founded in 1866, and is headquartered in Malmö, Sweden.
