AMCON Distributing Company reported third-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings per share of $2.85, more than doubling from $1.42 in the prior-year quarter. Sales rose 12.9% to $835.3 million, driven by its wholesale distribution segment which generated $824.7 million in revenues and $9.2 million in operating income. Net income available to common shareholders increased to $2.7 million from $1.3 million, while operating income climbed 28.5% to $6.3 million. A $1.8 million gain on real estate sales contributed to the operating income improvement. Chairman and CEO Christopher H. Atayan noted the company is benefiting from its customer-service focus and continues to seek strategic acquisitions in convenience and foodservice distribution.
