AMD has seen its revenue growth accelerate from 8.9% in the quarter ended June 30, 2024, to 37.8% for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, according to a Yahoo Finance AlphaSpace data dive. Net income growth has exceeded 100% in five of the past eight quarters, and sales per employee surged from $641,090 for the year ended December 31, 2018, to $1.12 million for the year ended December 31, 2025. The company recently unveiled next-generation AI chips including the Instinct MI450 Series GPUs and 6th Gen EPYC Venice CPUs, and announced that Microsoft will deploy its Helios rack-scale AI systems across Azure AI services beginning in the second half of 2026. AMD also struck a deal with Anthropic to deploy up to 2 gigawatts of Instinct MI450 GPUs in Helios systems starting in the first half of 2027, a deal potentially worth tens of billions of dollars, alongside a planned investment of up to $5 billion in Anthropic. Ahead of its earnings report, Citi analyst Atif Malik said they are buyers of AMD, while HSBC analyst Frank Lee expects the company to meet already bullish expectations for the second quarter of 2026 results and third quarter guidance.
