Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Class A Common StockAmneal completed the Kashiv acquisition, raised full-year revenue guidance, and reported Q2 revenue up 10% with net income more than doubling.

Amneal Pharmaceuticals completed its acquisition of Kashiv BioSciences on August 10, a move co-CEO Chirag Patel called pivotal in the company's push to become America's top Affordable Medicines company. The deal pairs Kashiv's biologics research and manufacturing with Amneal's commercial reach, giving Amneal an end-to-end presence in biosimilars, a market that could exceed $300 billion in sales over the next decade as biologic patents expire. Amneal reported second-quarter 2026 net revenue of $796 million, up 10% year over year, with net income more than doubling to $58 million and adjusted EBITDA rising 12% to $206 million. The company raised its full-year revenue outlook to $3.10 billion to $3.20 billion, its second upward revision of 2026, and expects a July repricing of its $2.084 billion term loan to save about $12 million annually in interest. To fund the acquisition, Amneal added a $350 million term loan and increased capital expenditure guidance to about $150 million, while setting aside $30 million for integration costs and $36 million for opioid settlements. Hedge fund ownership of Amneal fell from 36 to 23 funds in the latest quarter, yet short interest remains low at 3.88% of float, indicating market uncertainty rather than conviction.
