Apple Inc.Apple launched the new Siri AI with cross-app functionality and Apple Intelligence, a major product/R&D development.

Apple has launched Siri AI, an entirely new version of its digital assistant featuring more natural conversation and greater cross-app functionality. The beta version rolls out today in English, with support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish users expected to arrive in October. Built on Apple Intelligence, the new Siri pulls from personal context and onscreen awareness to answer questions and take actions, and uses iCloud to privately sync conversational history across Apple products. Siri AI has been integrated into the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and the Vision Pro, arriving in the iOS 27 update, with Apple Intelligence working on the iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max and all iPhone 16, 17 and 18 models, and on M-series iPads. The new Siri was originally intended for release in 2025, but technical difficulties pushed its release date out until now.
