Ast Spacemobile IncSuccessful orbital launch of three Bluebird satellites, with plans for more launches and increased production.

AST SpaceMobile shares ended sharply higher following the successful orbital launch of three Bluebird satellites—Bluebird 8, 9, and 10—carried by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The company plans additional launches soon for Bluebirds 11, 12, and 13, with Bluebird 37 also in production, as it targets approximately 45 satellites in orbit by the end of 2026. AST SpaceMobile holds regulatory approval for up to 243 satellites and is seeking to raise that limit to 543, while expanding manufacturing to over 500,000 square feet and aiming for a production rate of six satellites per month. Despite widening losses, with a first-quarter 2026 loss of $0.66 per share, revenues jumped to $14.7 million from $718,000 a year earlier, and the company reaffirmed its 2026 revenue guidance of $150 to $200 million. Analysts rate the stock a Hold with a mean target price of $84.82, and the company, valued at a $31.9 billion market cap, expects roughly half of its anticipated $1 billion in 2027 revenue to come from U.S. government sources.
