B.Grimm Power Public Company LimitedDigital Edge B.Grimm hyperscale data center with 26 billion baht investment and GreenLeap 10,000MW capacity target expand its asset base.

B.Grimm Power has unveiled plans to establish four core business units to support the new Power Development Plan (PDP 2026) and advance toward becoming an Energy Tech Company, while also revealing opportunities for both short-term and long-term revenue generation. The company has approximately 250 megawatts of surplus power capacity ready for immediate connection to customers in the Map Ta Phut and Ang Thong industrial estates, and is currently in negotiations to sell land with electrical systems to data center developers. Mr. Noppadet Kannasoot, Chief Executive Officer of Business in Thailand, Malaysia, and Industrial Business Solutions, stated that the country's long-term electricity demand is expected to reach as high as approximately 77,374 megawatts in the high-case scenario by 2050, particularly driven by data center projects in the EEC area, which are expected to consume around 3,000–4,000 megawatts. The new business units include B.Grimm BeyondBridge, which aims to become a Digital Infrastructure-as-a-Service provider, building on its Smart Micro Grid spanning over 216.76 kilometers; B.Grimm iNET, a joint venture with iNET to elevate industrial estates into Smart Industrial Estates; Digital Edge B.Grimm, a developer of hyperscale data centers with a capacity of 96 megawatts and an investment of 26 billion baht in Chonburi, which is over 45% complete and slated for partial operation by late 2026, with plans to expand to 300 megawatts by 2030; and a regional clean energy portfolio under the GreenLeap strategy, targeting 10,000 megawatts of contracted capacity with over 50% renewable energy by 2030, covering Thailand, South Korea, the Philippines, and Japan. Short-term opportunities also include the Nakwol 1 offshore wind power project in South Korea with a capacity of 365 megawatts, in which the company holds a 49% stake, expected to commence commercial operation within this year, following B.Grimm Power Korea's acquisition of convertible bonds from Unison Co., Ltd. representing approximately 85% of the total, valued at 32 billion won. Other projects include Zhongce Rubber's 35-megawatt rooftop solar, Huong Hoa 1 wind power in Vietnam with a capacity of 48 megawatts, the 83.79-megawatt Inthri B.Grimm Solar which is already operational, the first phase of the Amata B.Grimm Power floating solar project with 17 megawatts, and the Vista Alegre solar farm in the Philippines, which has signed a 50-megawatt power purchase agreement with TransCo. The company is also preparing for SMR technology through collaborations with European and Chinese partners, based on the principle of energy sovereignty.
