B.Grimm Power Public Company LimitedSecures 300 MW of new data centre customers, boosting margins.

B.Grimm Power, or BGRIM, has gained approximately 300 megawatts of new customers, mostly from the data centre segment, which will help improve the company's profit margins. Mr. Nopadej Karnasuta, Chief Executive Officer for Thailand, Malaysia, and Industrial Business Solutions, revealed that the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking is preparing to propose a national AI and digital development policy framework and strategy to the cabinet meeting on 4 August 2026, with greater clarity on data centre development policies expected in the second half of the year. Meanwhile, the company is restructuring electricity pricing for industrial customers from the Ft reference system to a gas cost-plus model, with about 50% of the total industrial customer base already able to amend their contracts. BGRIM targets expanding total production capacity to 10,000 megawatts by 2030, up from the current combined operating and under-development capacity of around 6,000 megawatts, and aims to increase the share of clean energy capacity to more than 50% of the total portfolio.
