BE Semiconductor Industries NVOrders more than doubled to €292.9M driven by AI and hybrid bonding demand.

BE Semiconductor Industries reported second-quarter order bookings more than doubled to €292.9 million from €128 million a year ago, driven by strong demand for AI, hybrid bonding, photonics and data centres. The number of customers using its hybrid bonding technology rose to 21 from 15 at the end of last year, with adoption expanding in logic, memory, co-packaged optics and consumer applications. CEO Richard Blickman said order momentum is continuing into the third quarter and that customers indicate AI-related spending remains on a multi-year growth path. Besi expects third-quarter revenue to grow between 10% and 15% compared with the €249.9 million reported in the second quarter.
