B.Grimm Power Public Company LimitedAnnounces capacity expansion and tariff adjustment to manage gas costs, with data center projects expected to boost profits.

Shares of B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (BGRIM) rose 6.38% to 20.00 baht after the company announced a strategy to cope with energy price volatility by adjusting the electricity tariff formula to reflect actual gas costs and proceeding with capacity expansion towards a target of 10,000 megawatts by 2030, while increasing the share of clean energy to more than 50%. Meanwhile, the data center business and the development of three new businesses, or New S-Curve, will be key mechanisms for long-term growth. KGI Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited views that short-term pressure remains on gas costs, but the trend of declining gas costs, gradual profit recognition from the Nakwol project, and growth in the data center business will support medium-to-long-term performance. The 96-megawatt data center project with Singapore's EDGE group is expected to commence commercial operations in phases 1 and 2 in early 2027 and the second quarter of 2027, respectively, and has the potential to generate profit contributions to BGRIM of approximately 300-500 million baht per year, equivalent to about 3.5 baht per share.
