Bionano Genomics IncRaised low end of 2026 revenue guidance, Q2 revenue beat, record flow cell sales, and debt retirement.

Bionano Genomics raised the low end of its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $31 million to $33 million while initiating third-quarter guidance of $8.2 million to $8.6 million. Second-quarter revenue reached $8.2 million, up 21% year-over-year and above the prior guidance range of $7.5 million to $7.8 million, driven by record flow cell sales of 9,219 units and a 30% increase in consumable revenue to $4.3 million. Adjusted gross margin hit a company high of 53%, and the company fully retired its senior secured convertible debt, ending the quarter with $10.4 million in cash and equivalents, with a runway expected into at least the first quarter of 2027. Management attributed the decision to raise only the low end of annual guidance to ongoing flow cell manufacturing capacity constraints, noting that demand continues to outpace supply and that several large orders near the end of the third quarter were considered at risk. The company also announced the return of Dr. Alex Hastie as Chief Scientific Officer.
