Bitcoin traded above $63,000 on Sunday, rising slightly as the market absorbed expanding Coldcard wallet losses and further Bitcoin sales by Trump Media & Technology Group. Losses linked to a vulnerability in Coldcard hardware wallets have reached 1,367 Bitcoin, worth nearly $89 million, according to Galaxy Research. A third round of transfers drained approximately 208 BTC from 1,912 addresses, bringing the total number of affected addresses across all three waves to 4,585. The flaw originated in a March 2021 firmware release that used a predictable software randomiser when generating wallet seeds, allowing attackers to reproduce possible private keys offline. Trump Media & Technology Group sold another 2,628 BTC worth about $165 million, according to blockchain analytics account Lookonchain, and has reportedly sold 7,281 BTC after initially purchasing 11,542 coins for about $1.37 billion. Strategy Inc, the largest corporate Bitcoin holder, maintained the August dividend on its STRC preferred stock at 12%.
