Bitmine Immersion Technologies made its largest purchase of Ethereum since early July, acquiring 32,447 ETH for $81 million U.S. over the past week. The company now holds 5,847,611 Ethereum tokens valued at $14.6 billion U.S. based on the current price of $2,505 U.S. The accelerated buying comes after Bitmine, led by Chairman Tom Lee, had decreased its purchases in recent months. The purchases come amid a rally that has seen Ethereum's price rise nearly 35% in the last week, from around $1,800 U.S. to above $2,500 U.S.
