The Boeing CompanyRevenue up 8%, free cash flow positive, debt down $8.2B, reaffirms full-year FCF target

Boeing reported second-quarter revenue of $24.6 billion, an 8% increase from a year earlier, driven by higher commercial-aircraft deliveries and defense volume. The company posted a core loss of $0.76 per share but generated $631 million in free cash flow and remains on track for positive free cash flow for the full year. Commercial Airplanes delivered 171 aircraft, the highest quarterly total since 2018, including 129 737s, and Boeing is ramping 737 production toward 47 aircraft per month while maintaining 2027 delivery timelines for the 737-7, 737-10 and 777-9. Defense revenue climbed 13% to $7.5 billion, though profitability was pressured by a $280 million charge on the VC-25B presidential aircraft program. Boeing reaffirmed its full-year free-cash-flow target of $1 billion to $3 billion as debt declined by $8.2 billion year to date.
